Skyline Holidays · All of KL, by car
A private car and driver for eight hours, from the Petronas Towers and Batu Caves to the square, the National Mosque, Thean Hou Temple, Chinatown and Little India. Pick it if you have one day in Kuala Lumpur and want to set the pace yourself.

Skyline Holidays sends a private car and an English-speaking driver to your hotel for eight hours. The listed route is long: the Petronas Towers, the Royal Selangor pewter centre, KL Tower, Batu Caves, Istana Negara, Dataran Merdeka and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building (20 minutes each), the National Monument, the River of Life, the National Mosque, Thean Hou Temple, Central Market, Little India, Petaling Street and Sri Maha Mariamman Temple. Reviews say drivers change the order on request.
Two plain facts from the listing. "Tour Guide" is under not included: you get a driver, and one guest described it as "more of a drop off and see by yourself tour". Many reviewers still found their driver full of stories, but it varies. And tickets for the Petronas Skybridge and KL Tower are extra; ask the operator in advance, and one guest advises WhatsApp rather than Viator messages.
The route also has shopping stops: a chocolate shop, a watch shop, a batik workshop and the pewter centre. Skip any you don't want. Viator's per-person from-price is the rate for the largest group, so couples pay more each. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building reopened to visitors on 2 February 2026 and is free inside; with your own car you can ask for longer there.
Pickup from your hotel lobby, then the Petronas Towers and the Royal Selangor pewter centre.
The tower (tickets extra) and the 272 steps of Batu Caves. Many guests ask to do the caves first.
Istana Negara's gate, Dataran Merdeka and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, 20 minutes each.
The National Monument, the River of Life and Masjid Negara.
Thean Hou Temple, Central Market, Little India, Petaling Street and Sri Maha Mariamman Temple.
Chocolate, watch and batik stops. Say if you'd rather skip them.
★★★★★Our driver John was punctual and very informative. Having the flexibility of time spent at the many sights enable us to see many sights in KL.
★★★★★Friendly and uncomplicated, he followed our suggestions (as to visit Batu Caves in the morning, before being to warm and to busy) and came with different proposals [...]
★★★★★We were pleasantly surprised to discover that this was a private tour for our small group of 3 adults! As such, this tour is a fantastic value. Not only was Raj punctual with pick-up at our hotel, but his clear communications starting the evening before and throughout the day of the tour ensured everything ran smoothly.
★★★★★This tour started when my guide, Ramana, picked me up from hotel at 8 am and ended when he dropped me back off at about 4:30 pm.
